  • Aspergers Syndrome

Asperger's, Me. To understand it you must understand me; to understand me you would have to be inside my own mind. This is me:

    * 99% of my life is inside my own thoughts, But that is what makes me content. The very essence of self-knowledge and self-reflection is the fuel of my life. Every day, in my mind I think up 1000's of philosophical quotes, 100's of basic scientific theories, Millions of reflections on the social order; enough to overwhelm Encyclopedias; though locked inside my head. It sounds as though I'm egotistical; but this is my "Deep Blue" of a brain.

*My emotions are lies. Every time I smile, I do it because I have found that in certain situations, not flexing my facial muscles is a sign of social Hatred. My cries are forced in situations that do not appeal to me; the opposite of masculinity, I cry instead of expressing anger when shown Non-appealing situations. I do yearn for excitement though, it is taunter of my existence.

*I have an extremely radical reaction to those less fortunate than me; some say too radical. Now that "Retard" is a common Descriptive Noun in today's society, the world seems as a living hell, that dares me to tread. I devote large amounts of time to the effect of showing people what a hellhole they have created. Churches have created a hellhole, Atheists have created a hellhole; Straights have created a hellhole, gays have created a hellhole; the pale have created a hellhole, the tan have created a hellhole; We are ALL guilty.

Savage can claim we don't exist, Mothers can give us Shock Therapy; But; ONE thing will always be clear:

I Am Here, I Am Existence, I Am Man, I Am Life, I Am Here

  • Hello

Today I have free time! As an Aspie, I spend my free time thinking, developing thoughts and ideas, and then some more thinking! Having Asperger Syndrome allows my mind to be both a prison and a home. I talk to myself alot and my friends notice. So one day i made joke out of it: I would stare at an empty desk and then talk to it as if someone was there, and then out of nowhere I would yell at it : " Talking to people that don't exist does not mean I'm crazy! " . It was hilarious to me that no one expected that.

    Dreams

After doing i little research it appears to me that dreams probably occur in the frontal lobe of the brain.Motor function, problem solving, spontaneity, memory, language, initiation, judgment, impulse control, and social function are all controlled by this part of the brain. These are all shown in dreams. For example : Say you are extremely intelligent but often slack in your studies; so one night you dream that you are in an amusement park, climbing up stairs that reach extremely high and at the top is a slide to slide down to the bottom. The problem is you do not want to slide down the slide. As a note, let's say that in real life you are very tall.Anyway, you finally reach the top to discover that you are to tall to fit in the slide, so now you don't have slide down the slide! You then turn around to find a line of people spanning the entire width and length of the stairs. You are trapped!Suddenly you wake up and think nothing of the dream, but let's examine it a little closer: Substitute the stairs for the "road" of life, and  substitute your height for you intellectual abilities and you have the following: "If you slack-off and hope to go through life relying only on your abilities, you will only go so far.Eventually you will hit an impassable road-block that those who try hard will "slide" right through, advancing throughout their successful lives". This is a message from your brain. To me, dreams are the only way the brain and the mind can truly connect; and you know what?     LISTEN

Some people do not realize that in the Nazi holocaust, autistic people were slaughtered by Adolph Hitler. This is ironic because many historians and scientists believe Hitler himself may have had autism.Whats even MORE ironic is the fact that the war Hitler started (world war 2), was ended by a most likely autistic person(Albert Einstein) who helped submit the basis for the atomic bomb. This shows that we autistic people are probably even more diverse than neurotypicals, which is why we are on a spectrum and also why it is sometimes extremely hard to spot an autistic person; and this makes it harder on the autistic child because many people will just brand them as a BAD child.Which, from experience, is horrible to go through.

  • im bugged

Something that really bothers me is when some people don't think we have problems, they actually think we are just misbehaving. When I was a little kid, I had no perception of right or wrong I got in trouble alot in preschool, but one incident stands out.it was my last day of preschool, and it didn't end well, partly becuase I believe some of my emotions are synthetic: forged by me from watching others in the absence of my own; this is one of the advantages of being intelligent and an aspie.I actually relized that I wasn't normal many years after  my diagnosis when I was talking to a little kid when he suddenly and bluntly shouted at me: "yer weird!".To this day I don't know why, but I cried. It seemed to have plucked an emotional string inside me.From then on I never cared for little children. If children are innocent, O.J. is canonised as a saint.

  • Tired

I'm getting a little tired of parents seeing a diagnosis of autism as the "end of the world".Many will blame it on vaccines.WELL *NEWS BREAK*! If they DON'T get the vaccine they then run an EXTREMELY high risk of getting a Serious infection; which at such a young age can be almost a Death Sentence! So which one do you want the initials "B.D." to stand for :  Brain Disorder     OR     Brain Dead  ?  And then there are those who look for a "cure"; though, to me, curing autism is like curing a stroke.N-O-T  G-O-N-N-A  H-A-P-P-E-N. Even if there was a so called "cure"  , I sure wouldn't take it! I like to call this an "If It Ain't Broke, Don't Fix It" situation :).Just look at the list of successful people who qualify as autistic! HANS CHRISTIAN ANDERSON   ALBERT EINSTEIN  ISAAC NEWTON  LEWIS CARROLL  THOMAS JEFFERSON  CHARLES DARWIN  MICHELANGELO  WOLFGANG MOZART  ARTHUR CONAN DOYLE  VINCENT VAN GOGH  BOB DYLAN! RING-A-BELL?! I probably have twice as much chance of succeeding in this world than that neurotypical "normal" child some parents dream about! Some scientists even say that Asperger's Syndrome(my form of Autism) could actually be a way of humans evolving to be more intelligent! Some crazy people want to find a cure so that they can knock us DOWN a peg so that we will then have the same abilities as them.   BEFRIEND US: YES   TALK TO US: YES   TEACH US: YES   LEARN FROM US: YES   CURE US:       NO!

  • Autism Awareness

Autism is something very close to my heart (and my mind!). Since I have Asperger's Syndrome, which is on the autistic spectrum, I feel I have certain obligations to the Autistic community. Some things Asperger's brings is average to high intelligence (I have extremely high intellectual abilities), impaired social functions, and difficulties with emotional function.Physically, some scientists say there is an abnormality in the Temperal Lobe of the brain(which would probably help explain the seizures i had). Some well-known people THOUGHT to have Asperger's are:  Albert Einstein, Isaac Newton, Henry Cavendish, Charles Darwin and Daniel Tammet. Some people actually confuse Asperger's Syndrome with Tourette Syndrome, but they are actually very different. For example, the pervasive movements associated with children with autistic-spectrum disorders are often more symmetrical, rhythmatic, and involving the extremities. In my view, Asperger's Syndrome is actually UNDER-diagnosed due to the fact that many people you grew-up with that were labeled a "nerd", "geek", "weirdo", or "outcast" were highly possibly autistic and were born with a disorder. I have found it quite ironic that intellectuals are often picked on by less intellegent individuals. This is probably due to the fact that they are "Aspies" and are easy targets, combined with the fact that the less intelligent individual is probably insecure from trying to compare their abilities to other's abilities.Alot more would be advanced in society if the non-intellectuals(with their social abilities), worked together with the intellectuals(with their intelligence). That's Idealism! But to get on topic once and for all :  S U P P O R T  A U T I S M  A W A R E N E S S  !
